ELITES

Aar'aa

Each Aar'aa choice taken allows you to field between 1 and 3 Aar'aa, each operatingly independently from one another.

Weapons: Plasma Assault Rifle, Plasma Pistol, Xenon Sword.

Options: Each Aar'aa may be given frag grenades at +1 point, krak grenades at +2 points, blind grenades at +2 points, and/or melta bombs at +5 points.

SPECIAL RULES

Independent Character: The Aar'aa is an independent character and follows all of the rules for characters in the Warhammer 40,000 rulebook. In addition, he may never join a squad.

Dodge: The Aar'aa can avoid the effects of any damaging hit, including psychic attacks, on a D6 roll of 4+.  This is an invulnerable saving throw.

It the Aar'aa successfully dodges an attack that uses a blast marker or other template, then the model is moved outside the effected area to the nearest edge of the template.

Infiltration: Aar'aa can secrete themselves deep within enemy territory.  The Aar'aa may always use the Infiltration rules, even if the mission doesn't allow it.

Chameleon Ability: Due to their chameleon-like ability, any troops wishing to shoot at an Aar'aa suffer a -1 penalty to hit.

 

Fortimilitai

Squad: The squad consists of between 5 and 10 Fortimilitai.

Weapons: Plasma pistol.

Options: Any member of the squad may be armed with a Korinai at +15 points, a Xenon Sword as +15 points, a Power Halberd at +20 points, or a Close Combat Weapon at +1 point.

Any model may be given frag grenades at +1 point, krak grenades at +2 points, blind grenades at +2 points, and/or melta bombs at +5 points.

 

Ignimilitai

Squad: The squad consists of between 5 and 10 Ignimilitai.

Weapons: Plasma Pistol and Plasma Sprayer.

 

Gladitai

Squad: The squad consists of between 5 and 10 Gladitai.

Weapons: Two Xenon Swords.

Options: Any model may be given frag grenades at +1 point, krak grenades at +2 points, blind grenades at +2 points, and/or melta bombs at +5 points.

 

Metigitai

Squad: The squad consists of between 5 and 10 Metigitai.

Weapons: Two Plasma Pistols.

Options: Any model may be given frag grenades at +1 point, krak grenades at +2 points, blind grenades at +2 points, and/or melta bombs at +5 points.

SPECIAL RULES

Special: Metigitai may fire both their pistols at once with a -1 to hit modifier.

 

0-1 Moritai

Squad: The squad consists of between 5 and 10 Moritai.

Weapons: Two Korinai Claws.

SPECIAL RULES

Fearless: Moritai are fearless and never have to take any Ld tests.

Hard to Kill: Moritai are incredibily resilient.  They cannot be harmed by a weapon with Strength 4 or lower.
